The Dillinger Escape Plan, Sikth and Volbeat have all been added to the Download Festival 2014 line-up.

Dillinger Escape Plan

Other newly announced bands on the bill include Suicide Silence, Buckcherry, Memphis May Fire, Battlecross, Jake E. Lee’s Red Dragon Cartel, Arcane Roots, Thy Art is Murder, The Amity Affliction, Avatar, Lonely The Brave and Feed The Rhino.

Dan Weller of Sikth says: “We’ve always said that one day we would get Sikth back together and do another show and next year just feels like the right time to stop the talking and do it. To be honest we really miss playing those songs. Our fans have been so loyal so it’s time to give them something back.”

Slipknot, Rammstein and Iron Maiden all played headline sets at Download Festival 2013 with support from 30 Seconds To Mars, Queens Of The Stone Age, Mötörhead, Enter Shikari, A Day To Remember and Bullet For My Valentine.

Tickets are available now at 2013 prices for a limited amount of time (all tickets subject to per-ticket charge plus order processing fee) from http://www.downloadfestival.co.uk.
