MOR Music was established in 1985 so to celebrate our 30th anniversary we’re holding an all day music festival at The Fulford Arms on Sunday 24th May (Spring Bank Holiday weekend).

We actively support the local musical community by holding these events therefore showcasing both little-known acts & giving them the opportunity to play in front of a wider audience & also well-known local talent. We have held successful music events over the last few years, from the York 800 MOR Music Festival in 2012 where over 5000 people attended our 800 minute long outdoor festival in Parliament Street &York to Music On Rails (MOR) Festival at the National Railway Museum last year which had a full stage in Station Hall & acoustic acts doing sets on a moving steam train.

We’re now looking for bands to play at this years event & asking any local bands/acts who are interested in playing to pop in and put their names down in our festival book where we will shortlist all interested parties down to around 25 acts & keep the details of the remaining acts on file for our future events.

Entry to the 30 Years Of MOR Music Festival event is free of charge.
