We’re already starting to look forward to tours in 2014, and we’ve got some great bands coming up!

Man, here at Soundsphere magazine, we’ve had some great tour news come to us over the last few weeks, not only the almighty…1D (link to tickets below), but also fantastic artists including Pixies and Nine Inch Nails are also heading out on tour really soon. GrabĀ One Direction tickets for the upcoming concert!

It’s about that time of year where we look forward to all the amazing tours that 2014 has to offer, and we look back on what a great year in music it has been. Obviously those smiling dudes (pictured) have dominated the pop charts and the tour ticket sales (and we’re sure that they’re wonderful live…), but over the last year, we’ve seen some amazing talent from all round the UK – electro legends Depeche Mode at Leeds Arena was a recent favourite, also on a smaller scale, watching returning rock act American Head Charge and RSJ rock Manchester’s Sound Control. We’ve experienced some incredible stuff, with a wonderful impact on loving music fans…real music fans who have real interest in the artists and their talents as musicians.

Indeed, that’s what we are about here at Soundsphere magazine, and that’s what we try and champion with every piece of content (in terms of live reviews particularly), that we do. We want to really shine a light on the best talent, not only within the North of England, but also worldwide.

What have been some of your favourite live acts from this year, who have you enjoyed the most? Are there any bands that you regret seeing? We won’t judge you, honestly? We’re all friends here!

If you think that there are any bands that we’ve missed this year that we should be seeing, then do let us know. We can’t always get everywhere, but we will do our best to cover as much ground as possible – from Hull to Leeds, Manchester, London, Texas and Hungary – all places that we managed to go this past year, actually. Go us! It’s important that you (the reader) know that we will take any suggestion about a band, artist or musician breaking out – including bands like One Direction – we want to be as inclusive as possible for the rest of this year and into 2014! As we’ve stated before, there’s such a great selection of talent locally, nationally and internationally to choose from, and we’d love to do as much as we can, as often as we can to expose that talent!
