Your Demise have revealed details of their next release. The follow up to 2012’s ‘The Golden Age’ album will take the form of a furious four track E.P – ironically titled ‘Cold Chillin’’.

The EP will be unleashed on February 7, 2013, to coincide with the band’s UK headline dates, and marks the bands first official release since their departure from Visible Noise Records.

“It’s a great step for a young band to be a part of a recognised label, but as time passes you realise how your reach to your fans could be a lot better in every aspect,” says guitarist Stuart Paice; “Being able to do what we want with our music is the very essence of what Your Demise has been about from the start. We are now able to make choices based entirely on what the band wants to do, and on what we think our fans are entitled to.”

For the EP’s release, the quintet have teamed up with long time collaborators Impericon.com and Leeds-based DIY label Pinky Swear Records, with Impericon handling the CD edition and PSR an exclusive vinyl pressing. “Impericon and Pinky Swear are both very dedicated to music, and separate themselves from the bull**it that can hang around in the music industry,” says Stuart; “They have shown us great passion and support, and have helped us in our mission to create a really special and personal release, which will also be very cool for our fans.”

The band are on tour throughout February 2013 – tour dates are here.
