Current 93’s latest release, ‘Aleph at Hallucinatory Mountain’, was released yesterday on the Coptic Cat label.
A special “Subscriber’s Edition” of the album will go out to fans who specially pre-ordered the album by the March 2009 subscriber’s deadline, and includes a bonus disc signed by David Tibet and featuring earlier versions of the album’s tracks.
This edition also includes a DVD with a short film chronicling the album’s recording sessions, as well as a film showing the band rehearsing for their 2008 tour.
Aleph at Hallucinatory Mountain‘ features collaborations between Tibet and artists such as Stephen Stapleton (Nurse With Wound), Matt Sweeney (Superwolf), Andrew WK and porn star, actress and musician Sasha Grey.
A vinyl edition of the album will be released later this year.
