The festival organisers say:

“The event will run for 2 days from June 22nd to June 23rd (Friday and Saturday) as two all day events at the one venue.

We have opted to use one venue in our first year running to make it possible for attendees to see all bands playing and not have to move between multiple venues.

For a festival in its first year we have worked excessively hard to bring a solid line-up to help develop the festival brand and further enable us to bring bigger line-ups to our events in the very near future.

We have already established a large interest from bigger bands wanting to be a part of the festival in the future which gives us a great hope going forward and developing and we are extremely excited to welcome new fans to our events.

As well as giving music fans a new festival we also aim to help local charities and causes with any profits we make by pledging a certain amount to those in need.

Our plans this year are to use profits to purchase supplies and food goods for York’s homeless. So you can enjoy a great festival and see your money do some good!”
