S] You used to do kinda indie/electronic rock stuff – what made you do the DJ gig for a while?

I always DJed even when I started out, at Libertines gigs or Deathdisco. It seems like a natural progression to where I am now. I love DJing. It gives you a immense sense of freedom.

S] How is it touring in support of artists as diverse as Marilyn Manson and SCXRLORD?

Awesome! It keeps life interesting and great to see epic shows every night. It made me a better performer.

S] How do you enjoy DJ gigs versus live rock shows?

I bring the same energy whether its a house party or arena.. its all the same to me.

S] Does the ‘Reaper’ cover signal a return to your rockier roots?

It was just something that clicked for Halloween. I can’t wait to get another record out there.

S] What would you say your biggest challenges are as an artist?

Affording the time and money to actually do the art is the hardest part.

S] What motivates you outside of music, think specific people, spaces, and movies for example?

Chanting, and getting high in healthy ways.

S] What advice would you give to other emerging artists who are inspired to follow in your footsteps as a creative?

No one knows what they’re doing in the industry! You have to do what you want to do, and if they get on board great if they don’t, you will find a way.
