Emerging from the dead industrial underbelly of Hull, LUMER take jaded frustration and push it kicking and screaming into the ears of unassuming crowds. Their frenetic post-punk sound teeters on the verge of losing control. LUMER return with the dark and unnerving single ‘Homicide’ following on from the success of previous release ‘Gruel’. The single was produced at The Nave in Leeds and will be released with Hull talent development label Warren Records.

Speaking about the track lead singer Alex Evans said “Homicide is about the destructive effect a person can have on another and the anxieties behind doubt.” After ripping apart the BBC Introducing stage at Radio 1’s Big Weekend the band went on to win praise from Huw Stephens and John Kennedy. Now about to embark on their first European tour including a headline show at The Old Blue Last.
