How would you define success as a band?

There are many nuances contained within the word ‘success’. An artist whose goal is creativesuccess is surely an enlightened being. For they follow a path that leads to unique creations and interesting compositions for the edification of mankind.

What challenges do you face as artists / aliens now?

As aliens on this planet we have brought with us a message of hope for the human race. Time is short, our challenge is to reach as many people as possible before it is too late.

What motivates you outside of music? Think specific people / lifeforms; places / galaxies and or movies / games?

We are great admirers of your planet … and frequently encounter inspiring music here on Earth. We also admire your wise scientists, particularly Stephen Hawking, and it is to his memory that we dedicate our forthcoming video transmission – Demilitarise. Professor Hawking spoke of the threats to your species and of humanity’s need to look to space for your salvation. You would be wise to heed his words.

What advice would you give to other emerging bands on how to make an impression as you’ve been able to do?

Have a bit of fun, and see what happens …

What do you enjoy about playing live? Particularly on Earth?

The gathering together of humans for the enjoyment of music is abstract and sacred. We have been watching your species evolve for millions of years now … your musical instinct has been ever present as you develop towards a higher intelligence.  Knowing this, we began experimenting on your species by playing our music – cosmic dross – to groups of humans. The results have shown that human beings are very receptive to the transmissions. We have witnessed outward signs of joy in the human participants; an increase in the frequency of delight; and the proliferation of gleeful abandon throughout the audience. The experiment continues …

In the event of a zombie outbreak, what weapon would you use to defend yourself, and why?

The Disarm-a-Tron. It uses malevolence-cancelling soundwaves to neutralise threat.
