It’s a pleasure to catch up with US alt-rock sensations, Thousand Foot Krutch. What a band.

Thousand Foot Krutch

S] Hi guys, how are you doing today?

Great, thx! Nice to meet you!

S] How do you look back on the success of your earlier work like Phenomenon at this point?

We’re proud of each album for different reasons, and I think each one marks a different moment in inspiration and growth for the band.

S] What are your main goals, now that you have managed to achieve so much within the industry?

Kind of you to say, it has been a journey, we’ve experienced a lot and are very thankful for all of the opportunities and support we’ve been blessed with the past 20 years. I think our goals are the same, really, to continue to make music that’s honest to us, that’s inspired, and hopefully communicates to our audience the way music has always communicated to us.  We feel very fortunate and blessed to still be able to do what we do and love! And we’re just getting started….

S] How does ‘Exhale’ expand on the messages and idea in ‘Oxygen:Inhale’?

It was always a two-part story, as there have always been a lighter and more aggressive side to our records, and both are important to us. So the idea was, that Inhale would give us a chance to dive deeper into the lighter side of the band without boundaries, and that Exhale would give us a chance to lay into the more aggressive side. I think this is our best record yet.

S] What are your main passion points – outside of music – think film, or specific people and places for example?

Outside of music? I’m passionate about my family and my faith.  They’ve both changed my life in incredible ways, and make me a better person everyday. I am a big film fan, movies inspire me to write all the time. Love the escape that a great movie gives you. Most of my life I didn’t really watch much TV, because I was always working on music for us or someone else, but in the last couple of years, I have learned to love shutting it down for a few hours and binge watching a great season of something.

S] Thanks for your time, guys!

Thank you!! Much love and appreciate the time! Thanks for what you do and for supporting cthis band, and big love & thanks to everyone out there who’s walking this journey with us!! #RockFamily
