Laura Jane Grace & the Devouring Mothers are also pleased to present the animated music video for “The Hotel Song,” taken from the band’s acclaimed debut album, Bought to Rot (stream and purchase). Created by longtime collaborator Margherita Ballarin, “The Hotel Song” is a moody visual complimenting the stark nature of the song’s lyrics that encourage forward movement in one’s life despite constant resentment and disappointment.

“’The Hotel Song’ is my tribute to hotel and motel rooms across the world,” Grace says. “Regardless of bed sheet thread count, shampoo and conditioner quality, or Wi-Fi speed, I am thankful for all the rented rooms that have offered me refugee & rest over the years while touring across the world.”
