A video game launch campaign that’s truly off the wall

The release of the new Soul Calibur game has inspired a team of graffiti artists to create a mural on a suburban London road.

Located along Great Eastern Street in Shoreditch, the artwork depicts the characters of Nightmare and Patroklos and a guesting Ezio Audiotore from the Assassin’s Creek franchise.

 

Street collective EndOfTheLine created the piece over a three-day period in a location they use regularly as a public art space.  A five-minute film showing how the mural comes together has been shared online:

 

 

‘Soul Calibur V’ (BBFC certificate 12, PEGI certificate 16) is released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox on Friday (February 3).  For more information on the game, please visit its website.
