The Sleeping return with new single “No Light”

The original lineup of The Sleeping has returned after a 17-year hiatus with their new single “No Light”.

The single comes from their upcoming album, “I Feel Like I’m Becoming a Ghost” which is out August 18th and also comes with a video of swirling colours and vintage footage, which can be viewed here now.

On the lyrical content of “No Light”, lead singer of The Sleeping, Douglas Robinson, states: “This was written about needing the person you love at all costs. I couldn’t get through everyday struggles I face without my partner. It’s all of your senses heightened when being close to the person who helps you feel the most sane.”

The Sleeping first emerged in 2003 and have led an impactful career, releasing four albums and touring with acts like Taking Back Sunday and Bayside. Their music is known for being featured in video game soundtracks, such as Madden NFL 07 and the Guitar Hero franchise.

Their new album “I Feel Like I’m Becoming a Ghost” is entirely self-released via a Kickstarter backer campaign hat reached its goal in just 10 days, after seeing an outpouring of support from fans and friends across the globe.
