The Cult have announced a new tour across the UK to mark their 40-year anniversary.

With just 10 UK dates spanning from October 21 – November 4, the band will take on some of the most notorious UK venues, including London’s Royal Albert Hall, on The 8424 Tour.

Billy Duffy (guitar) comments, “Following up from the great energy of Death Cult 8323 shows, I’m looking forward to bringing that sense of celebration of the band’s music, and the communion with our fans, to Cult 8424. CFFC. Let the ceremony commence!”

Having formed in 1984, and releasing an incredible 11 studio albums, The Cult have more than enough experience to put on superb live shows.

Ian Astbury (vocals) and Billy Duffy (guitar) made a significant mark on the music scene, by pushing boundaries and releasing music that was so powerful, and so fuelled by their own creativity. This music’s popularity has continued to grow, and has also influenced many more bands to follow suit by testing the borders of genres and experimenting with new musical ideas.

The 8424 Tour will begin in Leicester on October 21.
