Inspired by the SEGA Mega Drive games Drop Dead has collaborated with SEGA on a range of apparel that pays homage to classic SEGA console titles.

The collection comprises three limited, collectible t-shirts which feature artwork from the popular SEGA retro games titles; ‘Ecco The Dolphin’, ‘Golden Axe’ and ‘Streets Of Rage’.

The garments draw inspiration from original artwork, key characters, fonts and logos in celebration of the classic game titles. The packaging also takes influence from the original game boxes and cartridges. This unique collection is a must for anyone who grew up grasping a Mega Drive controller, playing through lives, levels and fearsome bosses.

Oli Sykes, founder of Drop Dead, said: “After growing up playing SEGA Mega Drive with my brother, I’m really excited to have been able to officially collaborate with this legendary name in video gaming.”

Sissel Henno, Head of Brand Licensing at SEGA Europe Ltd., comments: “We’re really excited to see Drop Dead develop a range of clothing based on our famous retro brands. I’m confident that these unique designs will get a warm reception from our core fan base.

The Drop Dead Mega Drive Collection is available online internationally on the December 10 via the Drop Dead online store (www.dropdead.co).

The collection will be available at Drop Dead London on December 7, 2013 from 10am, with limited edition goodie bag giveaways – Drop Dead, 8 Kingly St, Soho, W1B 5PQ.
