S] What themes and ideas inspire your music?

A] We are inspired by day to day dealings with friends and skate/punk culture.

S] What’s been a career highlight?

A] Playing Envol et Macadam in Québec and opening up for Rise Against. Seriously one of the coolest festivals we have played or attended. The Canadians know how to through a party.

S] What motivates you outside of music – people and places, for example?

A] Travelling, experiencing new places, and food. Thats what makes touring as much fun as it is. We get to see some of the coolest sights that people couldn’t even imagine.

S] Which of your most recent songs best represents the music you make, and why?

A] We would say Messin’ Around and Rad Rad Ebola. Messin’ Around is a fun song about the antics that guys go through with their significant others. Rad Rad Ebola is a song about what media can do to the public, but with a fun zombie twist.

S] What are your big plans for the rest of 2017?

A] We have a few  tours booked out, along with a few festivals. We will also be  recording and releasing our debut full length. 2017 should prove to be a busy year for Avenues.
