In our latest Band Interview, we chat to alternative metallers, Icarus.

S] How are you guys today?

We’re great thanks, excited to be here!

S] What inspires you outside of music at the moment, think specific people and places?

We’re strongly inspired by the experiences we all go through in life, be it tragedy, success, mental illness or heartbreak. We like to really get into how experiences like this make us feel and capture those moments in our songs.

How do you define success as artists?

Being a creator in this day and age is both a blessing and a curse. On one hand you get to do what you love and what you’re passionate about, on the other, it’s very difficult to sustain yourselves and your family solely through being an artist. Success for us is being able to support ourselves just through our music, and to be able to do what we love every day.

S] What are your plans as we head into 2021?

For 2021, we want to hit the ground running as soon as possible! We’re already in the process of writing awesome new material, and we can’t wait to finally get round to gigging in support of our last EP, getting out there and playing as many shows as possible!

S] If you could soundtrack any film with your music, what would you pick and why?

Venom (2018). We want to watch Venom go on a rampage to our song ‘Bleeding Out’.

S] Thanks for your time!

Thank you so much for having us!
