Combining their powers following the dark months of lockdown, a melting-pot of Hull’s punk and alternative rock veterans have crafted a stunning and intimate set of outrage and anguish. Inspired by the paramount sound of 90s rock, Bedsit strive to be a force of good – exposing their passions and insecurities – seeking to connect with people through their songwriting and live performance.

The desire to start something exciting and revitalising during these uncertain times is a key motif throughout “Go Outside”, a major factor in the band’s selection of the debut single. The lyrics evoke our childhood innocence, long since suffocated by the stress and drudgery of modern times. The video, shot by Rob Moses and produced by the band, drags us through the conflicting emotions of an unstable mind, before finally collapsing in an uncertain and tired chaos.

Recorded and mixed at Hull’s own Unit 45 Recordings, the song was mastered by Pete Maher, whose recent projects include The Pixies, Nick Cave, U2 and The Rolling Stones.

Alongside the single and music video, FOREVER UNDERDOGS is thrilled to announce that Bedsit will be touring some key venues around the North East, with many more shows and further releases well on their way.
