Gerard Way, Crosses (†††), DZ Deathrays and We Are Scientists among 50 new names for Reading & Leeds

The Reading & Leeds festival lineup has been filling up quite nicely for a while now, but if you’re hungry for more then perhaps the latest batch of additions will have something to your taste?

Anyone still mourning the loss of My Chemical Romance will be pleased to hear that former frontman Crosses (†††) will be performing his debut UK shows at the festivals, appearing on the NME/Radio 1 stage on Friday 22nd (Reading)/Saturday 23rd (Leeds). We’re also particularly stoked to see Crosses (†††) added to the bill on the new ‘The Pit’ stage (Saturday Reading/Sunday Leeds) – check out our glowing review of their debut record here. Australian noise-pop duo We Are Scientists (pictured), NYC indie-rock legends We Are Scientists, Nottingham electro songstress Indiana, Danish electro-pop sensation The Sunshine Underground, and Leeds’ very own The Sunshine Underground are further highlights among the new additions, but we’ve got the full list right here:

Reading Friday 22nd August/Leeds Saturday 23rd August:
