Black Moth, formed three years ago and recent signings to the New Heavy Sounds label, are currently recording at 2Fly Studios in Sheffield.  Sclavunos, who is producing the LP, adds: “[Their] music hearkens back to the balls-out hard rock of my misspent youth, but with a fresh up-to-date attitude. Their uniquely 21st century sneering twist on the ‘classic rock’ sound – seamlessly blending metal, psychedelia, punk and thrash – immediately won me over.”

In response, the band are excited to work with Sclavunos: “The number of influential bands he’s been a part of is quite something, and ‘Grinderman 2’ is one of the most innovative albums created in recent years. We know he’ll inspire us to make a great record.”
