To celebrate her November live dates with Zola Jesus, EMA releases ‘Marked’ on 21 November. This is an intensely sweaty-sway of a track and explores a complicated relationship, over an eerie guitar strum and keyboard drone, where EMA intones raspily, “I wish that every time he touched me / Left a mark”. It is the captured sound of climbing walls.
The AA is exclusive to this release in the form of ‘Angelo’ and features a special guest turn from Oakland’s very own Mz’Gorjis of Platnum Platnum.
