Scar The Martyr, the new project unveiled by Slipknot drum legend and songwriting mainstay Joey Jordison, have announced a UK headline tour for December.

The start date of the tour marks 14 years to the day that Jordison first played in the UK with Slipknot, at their now legendary debut show at London’s Astoria. Joey is looking forward to returning to these shores with his latest project, reflecting: “You know irony is an odd thing, but as the saying goes, history always seems to repeat itself. The first time I came to the UK with Slipknot was on December 13th, 1999 at the London Astoria, and to this day, it still remains in my memory as one of the best times I’ve ever had on tour. Fast forward now 14 years later, and I’m coming back to the UK on December 13th with my new venture Scar The Martyr. I can’t wait to establish new memories, but more importantly bring a vicious live show that the fans can sink their teeth into. The UK fans never disappoint, and I expect nothing less this time around.  We’ll see you all soon!”
