December UK tour for Saxon

Barnsley’s Saxon are performing a series of UK tour dates in the run-up to Christmas.

The current line-up, including founding members Biff Byford and Paul Quinn, are appearing at six venues and promise, in the words of Byford, “the perfect embrace of our past with a great modern edge”.  The band’s 2011 album, ‘Call To Arms’, has received criticial acclaim.

 

Support on the tour comes from Hammerfall, and the confirmed dates are:

14 – Leicester, O2 Academy

16 – Edinburgh, Picturehouse

17 – Belfast, Mandela Hall

18 – Sheffield, O2 Academy

20 – London, Koko

 

Tickets cost £18.50 (London £20) and are subject to a booking fee. They can be booked via the Saxon website.
