‘Last Days’ is the debut album from little known Ohio goths Flowers In Flames. Comprised of current and former members of Germ Free Adolescents, Full Wave Rectifier, Drifter, C.D. Truth, House of Sectionals, the Againsters, Male 7, and Constant Flux their sound is a combination of post punk, goth and psychadelia.
Tracks like ‘Introspection’ combine electro loops with the kind of torturous ambience that would make fat Bob smile, while ‘Cursed With A Flame’ harks back to early year Misfits. Listing Joy Division, Bauhaus, The Cure and Bowie as influences, ‘Last Days’ provides ten tracks of sonic bliss.
