The two are about to hit the studio together following the recent guest spots Numan contributed to the final leg of NIN‘s final tour where he performed with the band for ‘I Die, You Die‘ and ‘Down In The Park‘. Numan spoke to The Quietus saying that the duo will produce a few pieces together: “[It will] probably just a few songs to start with and see how it goes on. It’ll be cool.”

The artist ontinued to talk about his plans with Reznor: “I know he wants to carry on doing music things. We went out a few days after [the L.A. gigs] with a few other people and the way he puts it is when the dust settles — I think he means his marriage — but I think he’s going to be pretty busy for a while, so it’ll either be later this year or early next.”

It’s going to be an exciting time for dark electronic music.
