The High End of Low is the upcoming seventh studio album by Marilyn Manson. It was recorded in the Hollywood Hills throughout 2008.

Sean Beavan, who mixed Antichrist Superstar, Mechanical Animals, and Eat Me, Drink Me, is co-producer of the album.

As of yet, an official release date has not been announced, though a May 2009 release has been reported.

The singer explained that the title referred to “a self-described state of being that I’m in. You’re going to be fucking freaked. It’s the shit”.

Manson will be filming a nine minute long video for the album’s first single, I Want To Kill You Like They Do In The Movies, later this month.
