It’s been announced Canadian rock quartet Sum 41 are no longer able to take part in this year’s Kerrang! tour.

Their withdrawal from the eleven-date schedule is due to frontman Deryck Whibley sustaining a back injury. “I feel really terrible about letting down the fans,” he adds. “We’re all really upset about this; we’ve had such a great relationship with our UK fans. We were really looking forward to thistour.”

The organisers have confirmed The Blackout shall step in to replace Sum 41.
