More attractions confirmed for Copmanthorpe Carnival 2011

This Summer Copmanthorpe Carnival is coming to York once again with an even bigger and better show of events and entertainment. It’s a huge line up of Live Music Dance and Circus Entertainment on the Copmanthorpe Carnival stage for 2011. From the same stage that brought you local chart sensations One Night Only and Elliot Minor and many of the area’s best.

Copmanthorpe Carnival not only has to offer its crowds great live music and dance but also a grand family day out…

 

Global York a highly experienced group of youth workers in York will be running the amazing kids activities at the carnival for the second year running. Global have some great kids entertainment with a football cage, sumo suits and human table football on offer. There will be excellent Kids’ Zone entertainment complete with crafts, face painting, balloon modelling and more.

 

Copmanthorpe Carnival’s general event theme for 2011 is the circus. The theme will see the event holding a fantastic array of circus-style entertainment both on stage and through the crowds with juggling workshops, stilt walkers, clowns and acrobats. There will also be zorbing, a snowboard simulator and assault course on offer.

The Copmanthorpe Carnival 2011 also provides its public with refreshment areas from the Fairtrade Tea Tent, along with cake and popcorn stands.
