York’s Six Lips Theatre to launch new production in April

Up-and-coming York-based theatre company Six Lips are to launch a new production of Samuel Beckett’s ‘Footfalls’ in April.

The show will run from Tues 19 to Sat 23 April 2011 at Bar Lane Studios’ Basement. Performances will be at 7pm every night, then 2pm and 7pm Saturday. The group made this statement about their goals with this production and for the future: “Our main objective is to create work with powerful aesthetics that leaves audiences with affecting images, while also using poetic dialogue that is poignant, true and equally as lasting.”

 

Standard tickets are: £17.50 while concessions will be £10. They are available now from Bar Lane Studios and York Theatre Royal.
