‘Never Be Content’ is the second offering from Spoken Punk Poet, Illuminate Oblivion (Mary And The Ram’s Dom Smith), based in Hull, East Yorkshire in the UK.

This track chronicle’s Smith’s near-mental breakdown, following a difficult separation, and the reflection of feeling trapped in a seemingly happy life, and situation:

“This was originally written about a year ago when I was trying to come out of a broken relationship with someone that I love very much. Man, on the face of it, everything was so perfect – the house and everything. It could have been fine if I had forced myself to stick it out, but I kept thinking to myself, ‘there has to be more to life than this’, and that’s the experience that this is based on.”
