Muertos released their astonishing debut ‘Suck It Up’ on Roadkill Records only a couple of weeks ago followed by a celebratory party at London’s Shacklewell Arms alongside a host of psych-rock royalty. It’s true there’s no rest for the wicked because now they’ve released their brand new video for album highlight ‘Corazón’.

Formed in London, the songwriting duo of DeAnna Avis and Marc Crane bonded over their mutual love of cult horror movies and classic psychedelia. Their vintage garage sleaze is a full sonic assault of feedback that collides with a motoric beat and the bands signature duel vocals. They draw influence from the likes of Jesus and Mary Chain, The Kills and The Black Angels.

‘Corazón’ is a slower number which amongst the album gives the listener a welcoming break from layers of stoner distortion, drawing more influence from Avis’ Mexicana roots. The video was shot largely in a single take with videographer Michael Young and is steeped in vintage effects.
