Set over the course of a day, as customers come and go, the first narrative film from the York-based Rocket Horse Production Co. aims squarely for a sort of ‘Yorkshire Gothic’. A quaint small town setting undercut with hints of the grotesque and a deal of observational humour, building to a shocking climax.
