A new musical project by Kong frontman Magpie has been revealed.
Then Thickens, described as ‘lo-fi’ home recordings by the artist, real name Jon-Lee Martin, and five collaborators. The group has published a selection of tracks on their website; one of which, ‘Ellie, Rebecca’ is available as free download.
Then Thickens take to the road for two shows:
OCTOBER
5 – Leeds, Brunedell Social Club (with Stalking Horse) – free entry
NOVEMBER
6 – Manchester, Night And Day (with Vessels) – tickets £5
