‘Black Rhino’ is written about ways in which distrust can build in a relationship and how a seemingly content situation can turn volatile without a moments notice. The band add:
“Historically the imagery and myths of a black rhino is that of a misunderstood creature, an intimidating and formidable looking exterior that belies it’s gentle nature. We felt the imagery of this worked well with the theme of the song”.
