Drawing influences from the Sixties songbook, four lads from Birmingham by the name of Capital Sun bring forth their first single this month.

The release of ‘Forgotten Songs’ comes just over a year after the band’s formation.  In that time, they’ve supported fellow Midlanders The Enemy and worked in the studio with Grammy-nominated producer Chris Tsangarides.

A launch gig to promote the issue of ‘Forgotten Songs’ will take place in their native city’s The Rainbow on January 28, two days before the track’s release.  Capital Sun are also appearing at the following venues in the immediate future:

JANUARY

24 – London, Camden Eye

FEBRUARY

6 – Balham, The Bedford

29 – Birmingham, The Flapper (supporting Brother And Bones)
