Some bands can do emotive alternative rock….terribly. I mean, it’s a tried and tested formula, after all – and it’s very easy to sound like you’re ripping XYZ band off. Broken Girls From Affluent Backgrounds (amazing name), are not one of those acts. Stimulating, driven and emotive – the riffs build to an aurally delightful chorus, complimented by steady rock beats, and soaring vocals. This is something different, and somewhat epic in the world of rock, and we are definitely, emphatically down with it.
