Iconic UK Skateboard Brand Lost Art has launched a unique collaboration with globally revered performance poet John Cooper Clarke to coincide with the release of his autobiography ‘I Wanna Be Yours’.
Working with long time Lost Art Collaborator, illustrator, Skateboarder and John Cooper Clarke Fan, Sketch Stance, The collection and direction aims to celebrate the DIY punk ethos that runs through both Skateboarding and John Cooper Clarke’s works opening up both protagonists to a new audience.
With the Subject Matter of ‘Evidently Chickentown’ now more relevant than ever Russ’ has used the lyrics as an inspiration source to create graphic themes that reflect the current climate and capture the spirit of John Cooper Clarke and Lost Art.
We have attached some imagery that reflects our day of printing in Liverpool and taking to the streets of Salford in honour of John’s heritage, plus the tour press release and the link to the video to accompany the collaboration is below.
