Austin punk-metal band MoonKill share “Dead Holiday” from forthcoming debut album

Austin punk-metal band MoonKill share “Dead Holiday” from forthcoming debut album via Spill Magazine.

Inserting ambient spacey sounds & new-wave tension into their Texas punk, vocalist Dan Aronov sings and howls with the powerful pipes of young Glenn Danzig, while the rest of the band blasts out tight and infectious melodic, metallic punk rock. Together throughout the album, the band harnesses simplicity to powerful effect. 

The band materialized in a T-shirt factory, which doubled as an after-hours practice space, in Austin, TX. The four members joined for a random jam session in May 2022 and the first session produced their initial song “Long Line to Hell” and they have been growing their queue of Texas Punk songs ever since.

The band have been described as “everything you could possibly want from the darker side of punk” by New Noise magazine and their new single captures this yet again.
