The tour kicks off in the UK before heading to Europe.

Not even two months on from the conclusion of their ‘Necromantic Fantasies’ tour, legendary British goth metal band Cradle of Filth have just announced their next show, ‘By Order of the Dragon.’

The tour runs for 11 dates throughout the UK, including shows in Bristol, Cardiff, Belfast and London, followed by a 15-date European leg kicking off in Germany, before wrapping up in Belgium

Support on the UK and Irish dates will come from American metalcore band Butcher Babies, as well as extreme up-and-comers High Parasite.

Meanwhile, the Mainland European dates of the tour will see the Cradle and Butcher Babies joined by German blackened deathcore band Mental Cruelty.

In a statement promoting the tour, the group said that “Long dead poet John Keats may have described autumn as a “season of mists and mellow fruitfulness” but for extreme metal legends CRADLE OF FILTH, it’s a season of mischief and mayhem. Nothing kicks off the spooky season like a hellacious CRADLE OF FILTH live extravaganza.”

The self-described “purveyors of pandemonium” also said they have something “spine-chilling” in store for those attending the O2 Forum Kentish Town date on Halloween.

The tour itself also comes after the release of the band’s first live album in 20 years, ‘Trouble and Their Double Lives’, last year.

General sale for the ‘By Order of the Dragon Tour’ begins Thursday 2nd May at 10am BST. Order tickets at www.cradleoffilth.com. For VIP packages, head to www.cradleoffilthvip.com
