The single is a feel-good track, with a stomping rock chorus threaded with wordplay, handclaps, and searing lead guitar acrobatics.
The band specialises in radio-ready, arena-sized college pop anthems, similar to bands such as Weezer.
Commenting on the track, the band said: “’Easy’ is a tune about that person we all know, the one that’s always complaining, no matter how privileged their situation is. There’s always someone that’s better off than you, sure, but there’s countless more that have it way worse, so be grateful for what you have. Some people always find a way to be pissed off, but they actually have it pretty easy.”
The single was recorded and mixed by Les Keye at Arad Studios in Dublin, and Stephen Cannon mastered the track whilst also adding extra guitars.
