Brighton-born duo, fakeyourdeath, have released their debut EP, null/void, alongside unveiling a full live session to celebrate their new release.

“null/void is an EP about everything and therefore nothing. It’s an angry rant about how much the world sucks right now and how we as humans feed that state. If you want a happy listen, this isn’t it. The EP explores themes of depression, mental health and heartache. It’s all about serving the music; bringing it to life and forcing the listener into an uncomfortable state,” Candi Underwood (vocalist) comments.

The EP consists of fakeyourdeath’s first three singles, ‘truth’, ‘consume’, and ‘humanity’, as well as two unheard tracks – ‘broken’ and ‘hell’.

On April 25, supported by Nailbreaker, the band will be playing Blondies in London, putting on a release show for their beloved supporters. Having played with names like Empire State Bastard, Zand, Lake Malice, and performing at ArcTanGent festival last year, fakeyourdeath are no stranger to the UK live music scene, and definitely know how to put on a good show.
