Leeds’ electronic music label, Sixteen Records announces launch event

New Leeds based alternative/electronic label Sixteen Records showcases debut release with an eclectic compilation of the genre’s finest artists within the area. VOLUME 1 compilation hits all download/streaming sites May 23rd.

Sixteen Records owns the true meaning of DIY, with 22-year-old producer and founder, Lotte van den Berg taking the reigns on the majority of its production, mixing and mastering.

Having worked alongside some of the areas freshest, upcoming electronic and alternative artists, Sixteen Records are proud to present Volume One which focuses on many sub genres such as fuzzy dream-pop and hard-hitting electronica.

Featured artists ranging from well-respected Leeds favourites, LELO, Dokkodo Sounds and JOULE, to big Nottingham post-rockers Eyre Llew and fresh up and coming acts such as Luna Pines and Imi, this record is bursting with young talent and potential.

The Sixteen Records launch festival will be held at the intimate and famous Hyde Park Book Club in Leeds on May 23rd.
