Punk band Noah And The Loners announce their debut EP ‘A Desolate Warning’, accompanied by the release of their newest riot-inciting single ‘Crash Landing.’

For Noah And The Loners, Punk is so much more than a label. It’s a state of being. As one of the latest signees to Marshall Records, the band have been creating a reputation for themselves through their barrage of two minute freak-outs, venting about anything from politics to personal life, bringing a refreshing new voice to the genre. Frontman Noah Lonergan says:

“I don’t see the point of writing a song if you’re not saying anything, and I don’t think we’d be the band we are if the music wasn’t so personal”.

Releasing on 28th February 2024, this explosive compilation sees the band tackling societal injustices and inequity head-on, while also talking about surviving the day to day drudgery of modern life, all wrapped within the band’s raw unapologetic energy and Lonergan’s signature caustic lyricism. Providing a rallying cry for those working their way through the complexities of adolescence and societal expectations, the overpowering grip of toxic relationships and the isolation and stigmas that surround topics like mental health, with visceral performances captured by Neil Kennedy (Creeper, Milk Teeth, Boston Manor) that elevate the songs beyond the boundaries of punk.

This chaos of the EP mirrors the band’s discontent with the ongoing partygate scandal as it serves a poignant social commentary on the contemporary and shambolic UK political landscape, which can be heard on the band’s latest single ‘Crash Landing.

Speaking on the creation of this track, Lonergan recalls,“This track came to us organically when we were staying at Joseph’s (Lead guitarist) house during the summer of 2022. We had not intended to write or rehearse anything, as we were taking some time off from the outside world. However, a moment of inspiration from Joseph, with the opening riff – our growing frustration with the UK government’s incompetence and hypocrisy inspired this social commentary on the state of politics in the UK today – led to the creation of ‘Crash Landing,’ complete with lyrics in no time at all.”

‘A DESOLATE WARNING’ EP will be released on 28 February 2024 via Marshall Records. Catch Noah and the Loners live, including a run of dates with indie-punks, The Meffs. A complete list of dates can be found below.
