Volbeat begin first UK tour this month

Volbeat have finally confirmed their first ever UK tour for October 2011. The band, whose latest studio album ‘Beyond Hell / Above Heaven’ (Spinefarm) has taken them to the forefront of the international hard rock scene, were due to play the UK at the back end of last year, but due to frontman Michael Poulsen falling ill, the dates were unable to go ahead.

Now, the tour has not just been rescheduled but moved up in venue size, with a new single (‘Heaven Nor Hell’) lined up to coincide:

The latest/third UK single from ‘Beyond Hell…’ has just been released; titled ’16 Dollars’ and featuring Jakob Oelund on guest double bass, the track is available as both a digital download and a limited edition 7″ pic disc, available exclusively from www.whatrecords.co.uk.
