The German label Dependent Records will reopen and begin to release physical CDs again this summer in partnership with Metropolis Records.

The label, which had previously stopped releasing physical records in favour of promoting live music and releasing digital reissues, has signed two new artists, Kilowatts and Vanek.

The label has also added two established acts to its roster in Front Line Assembly and Mesh.
