Devon Rox, the UK’s newest open-air rock music event, launches first Summer festival from August 6-7, at Powderham Castle, Devon.

Funeral For A Friend, The Quireboys, Heaven’s Basement, The Treatment, Saint Jude, JettBlack, Girlschool, Deborah Bonham, Livin In A Valvestate and Our Innocence Lost have all been announced for DevonRoX 2011.

It is to be held at Powderham Castle, near Exeter, over the weekend of August 6-7, with a second stage to showcase local and unsigned talent.

Situated beside the Exe estuary and set in the middle of a deerpark, it is a unique and fabulous setting for a festival.

 

Promoter Paul Marsh said of the event: “On behalf of the whole Devon Rox team, we would like to thank all those who have helped us bring together such an awesome line-up to the Riviera! We are all looking forward to a very special event, in a truly spectacular location, that will become a regular date for those music fans who want the big festival experience and at an affordable price.”

 

Early bird tickets (limited number) are £45, with weekend camping tickets priced at £55 thereafter. Children under 14 years accompanied by an adult, go free.
