Zeal & Ardor have released a new single, ‘to my ilk’, and have announced a UK headline show ahead of the release of their new album, GREIF.

Manuel Gagneux (frontman) has said, “The GREIF is a lion, a snake, and a bird. During the parade, he turns his backside to the aristocrats and sticks it to the man. It reflects where we are.”

Throughout their three already-released albums, Zeal & Ardor have displayed their journey as a band, becoming better with each one they put out into the world. The group put themselves into their music, and have created a sound that is distinctively theirs. GREIF is the new exhibition of Zeal & Ardor’s creation, and judging from their new track, ‘to my ilk’, it’s not going to disappoint.

“We’ve really evolved into a tight-knit unit. Before Zeal & Ardor, we were basically strangers, but we’re like a little family now. Each member brings his own unique flavour to the mix, and we all try to make Manuel’s songs better in our own way. The most interesting part for me was the new approach of how we work together in the studio,” Marco Von Allmen (drums) comments.

The band’s fourth album, GREIF, will be released on August 23 of this year.
