Reverse Order

S] What keeps you passionate outside of music – think films and people and places for example?

Outside of music we love hanging out with friends and family, taking road trips to new and interesting places, and trying all sorts of food from local specialties to unique items that you don’t often find. We also love horror films; John (lead singer/songwriter) has a huge collection of even the most random B-Rated Horror movies.

We’ve stayed at haunted hotels in Portland, and have explored many haunted areas all over the country. If someone mentions something weird about their town, we head right for it! We even have an autographed Hot Dog Bun on the wall at Tony Packo’s in Ohio!

S] What are your major plans for this year?

We recently released our new EP, Nothing to Hide, which was produced by Matt Squire (Panic! at the Disco). Nothing to Hide is currently streaming on Spotify. We are also extremely excited to announce that Van’s Warped Tour invited our non-profit, Reverse the Trend, to be a part of this year’s tour.

Reverse The Trend is an anti-bullying / suicide prevention program brought to schools and teen centers all over. We are looking forward to connecting with so many new people on the tour this summer!

S] What song best describes where you are at as a band right now, and why?

Our song Erase You definitely describes where we are at musically as a band. We’ve always been a fan of multiple genres of music, and Erase You allowed us to mix many of those elements together into one focused sound. Erase You is a passionate song that combines a powerhouse of driving instruments with deep, heartfelt lyrics that leave everything on the table. We crafted a balance between alternative rock and pop influences by blending driving guitars and pounding drums with ambient synths and clean acoustics. We are all extremely proud of the song.

S] What has been a career highlight so far?

Reverse Order has accomplished so many things that we are incredibly proud of including touring the United States, Russia, and performing in Mexico. It was also a huge accomplishment establishing our nonprofit, Reverse The Trend, as a government certified 501c.3 charitable organisation.

S] Any message for UK fans?

Thank you so much for all of your support. It really does mean a lot to us. We are doing our very best to tour in the UK as soon as possible so that we can meet all of you in person!
