Avalanche Party have now released their eagerly anticipated and boundlessly impressive debut album ’24 Carat Diamond Trephine’.

The feral garage-punk quintet from the North Yorkshire Moors have spent the past weeks on tour in the US and UK, they gave free passes to shows for NHS staff and the album has been met with an overwhelmingly positive reception. ’24 Carat Diamond Trephine’ is an eleven track joyride that veers from the poetic and introspective to a ferocious barrage of explosive energy.

Artwork features close friend and The Amazing Snakeheads/And Yet It Moves frontman Dale Barclay, who tragically passed in 2018 but is remembered here for his huge impact on the band both personally and musically. The album was recorded over the course of a bitter December last year. Each day for a month (including Christmas Day) the band and an assortment of friends/collaborators crafted the tracks in a cold windowless room on the top floor above a social club in York called Young Thugs Studios.
