Players from 8 Italian shoegaze bands (Clustersun, In Her Eye, Elizabeth The Second, The Mystic Morning, Novanta, Rev Rev Rev,  Stella Diana, We Melt Chocolate) to reinterpret UK cult band My Vitriol song “Under The Wheels”

Born in 2016 from an idea of Davide De Polo (Depo), a DJ and musician well known in Milan’s alternative scene since the early 90’s (founder of bands Soon and Mystic Morning, and of The Persuaders DJset duo), In a State of Flux is an independent touring festival devoted to the growing Italogaze scene.

Several dates were scheduled for 2020 spring, but then Covid-19 showed up and everything had to change. So, being in touch through the group messenger chat, members of 8 Italian shoegaze bands (Clustersun, In Her Eye, Elizabeth The Second, The Mystic Morning, Novanta, Rev Rev Rev, Stella Diana, We Melt Chocolate) joined the forces to realise a version of “Under The Wheels” from My Vitriol, a band they all share the love for. Each player from his home has reinvented the vibe of the original song through his own style, and the cover is out now under the collective name In A State Of Flux.

The track was mixed by Ben Moro (Elizabeth The Second) and mastered by Filippo Galvanelli (Hypnoise Recording Studio).
